Roaches are not a cleanliness issue. They enter homes through cracks, gaps around utility lines, secondhand furniture, grocery bags, and shared walls in multi-unit buildings. Once inside, even a clean home provides enough food crumbs, water, and shelter to sustain a population.

Over-the-counter sprays kill individual roaches on contact but do not reach the colony or eggs hidden inside walls, appliances, and voids. In fact, sprays often scatter a roach population, making the infestation harder to resolve. Professional baits and targeted treatments are far more effective.

Most residential roach infestations are fully resolved within 2 to 4 weeks with our treatment approach. Severe or long-standing infestations may require follow-up visits over 6 to 8 weeks to ensure all egg cycles are broken.

The most common species in RI homes are German cockroaches (small, tan, prolific indoors), American cockroaches (large, reddish-brown, often found near basements and drains), and Oriental cockroaches (dark, moisture-loving, common in older buildings).
